The purpose of this survey is to gauge public opinion of European Citizens on current challenges, strategic priorities & key actions for the development of a common EU Policy in the areas of asylum and migration. Another aim is to understand perceptions and attitudes of citizens towards migrants, immigrants and refugees and towards various migration policy options, and to understand the awareness and knowledge about the phenomenon and the “new multicultural scenario”. The survey is conducted in the frame of the project "Migrations, Integration and Co-Development in Europe" co-funded by the Europe for Citizens Program of the European Union."

Il progetto mira a promuovere la cooperazione nel settore della gioventù tra organizzazioni provenienti da diversi contesti del Mondo, coinvolgendo ONG, enti locali e organizzazioni no-profit provenienti da Italia, Senegal, Kenya, India, Vietnam, Lettonia, Grecia e Cipro. Il primo appuntamento è un corso di formazione sul “Project Cycle Management” e il “Community Development” rivolto ad operatori giovanili delle organizzazioni partner, che verrà ospitato a Caltanissetta dal 20 al 28 Febbraio 2015.

- To articulate a manifest of criteria for improving the quality of activities focused on youth employment and access to formal education.

The project “Migrations, Integration and Co-Development in Europe” isfunded with the support of the Europe for Citizens programme of the European Union under the Civil Society actions. Itencourages an intercultural dialogue between civil society organizations and citizens from different countries and living communities in Europe to express their views about EU policies related to migration and asylum and more broadly, about priorities and strategic actions needed to face common and current challenges in this field. Through a bottom up approach the project involves citizens and members from civil society organisations, local authorities, educational, cultural or research institutions, town-twinning committees and networks that are active in the migration and asylum field.
